Introduction to Apprenticeship
Join representatives from Apprenticeship Minnesota at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry to learn about registered apprenticeship and the benefits of growing and sustaining an innovative workforce. As a strategy to meet your need for skilled workers while increasing engagement and retention, registered apprenticeship offers a time-tested employee training system that can be customized to meet the needs of any business. Additionally, Ed Godfrey from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will share the options and benefits available for veterans through the Minnesota G.I. Bill.
Previously scheduled events in Brainerd and Mankato have been postponed, but the events in Moorhead and Willmar are still on as of April 1. Visit the Department of Labor and Industry website for more information.

As the details and responses related to the COVID-19 virus became apparent, the March 26 Construct Tomorrow Student Event in Moorhead was cancelled.
Looking ahead, we plan to announce the 2020-2021 schedule of Student Events later this spring and a trip to northwest Minnesota will almost certainly be on that list. Look for an announcement in the coming weeks.

Each year at their Holiday Gathering, the Association of Women Contractors donates a portion of the proceeds from the Silent Auction during the event to a non-profit organization. This year, the AWC selected Construct Tomorrow to share in their holiday generosity! Construct Tomorrow Executive Director Tim Busse was on hand to accept the check for $1,000 from AWC Executive Director Barb Lau and to say a few words of sincere thanks to members and supporters.

KEYC Channel 12 in Mankato ran a very nice story about yesterday's Construct Tomorrow event. Thanks once again to the students who attended and to the volunteers who spent their day explaining the many benefits of apprenticeship training programs to the those students.
